New Carlisle Fire Department

The New Carlisle Fire Division is comprised of a combination of paid-per-call and part-time employees for a total of 60 firefighter and emergency medical service providers. The Division consists of one station located within the City which is staffed with 2 part-time personnel. These personnel are assigned primarily to the ambulance unit, with this program funded by an emergency medical service (EMS) operating levy. Also the Fire Division provides contractual emergency medical service support to Elizabeth Township in Miami County. Elizabeth Township owns the ambulance and the fire station and relies on the City of New Carlisle for staffing support only, with two emergency service providers working there daily.
