The Planning Department is responsible for administering the policies, programs and regulations that manage the development of the City of New Carlisle. The department is tasked with ensuring the sound management of the City’s growth, the protection of its quality of life, and its economic vitality through a variety of comprehensive planning measures. The Planning Department issues all Zoning Permits for new construction, additions, accessory structures, signage and business occupancies.
The department is also responsible for enforcing the City codes relating to Zoning and Exterior Property Maintenance.
Building
The city of New Carlisle utilizes the Clark County Building Department for all Building Permits and Plan Review.
