City of New Carlisle Water Source, Treatment, Storage and Distribution

The City of New Carlisle operates and maintains a 1.2 mgd, ground water, green sand filtration, ion exchange facility with an average daily flow of 500,000 gallons a day.  We serve an estimated 2300 accounts a day. We also operate and maintain a 1.7 million gallon “Scarff Rd.” Water Tower, 25 miles of water mains, 240 fire hydrants and 750 valves.

The City of New Carlisle Water Division, in compliance with the 1996 amendments to the USEPA Safe Drinking Water Act, have prepared the following annual reports to provide information to the consumer, on the quality of our drinking water. Included within these reports are general health information, water quality test results, how to participate in decisions concerning your drinking water, and water system contacts.
