Karriane Grow

Growing up in a small town and in the church, I learned the value of community involvement and helping my fellow man from my amazing parents. As a 4-H member, I developed a lifelong commitment to service, discipline, and care for animals. 

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving my community in various capacities, such as organizing tornado relief efforts I dubbed “Cokes for Comfort” with a small group of peers tending to one of the hardest hit areas. To providing compassionate support as a Doula to new mothers and holding space for my peers, now also, my constituents. 

As a business owner and Doula, I’ve dedicated my career to empowering others and fostering growth. I’ve also been an active member of the New Carlisle community garden for the past three years, contributing to our local food system and promoting sustainability.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy in exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and kayaking. I enjoy traveling world-wide serving others and learning about other cultures. I’m also a passionate cook and baker, experimenting with a variety of dishes from various cultures. As an artist, I appreciate the beauty and creativity that the arts bring to our community which I love. My favorite thing about New Carlisle is how we take care of our neighbor and care about our small-town feel community. It is a blessing to be here and to serve.
